Who are we?

St. Paul Lutheran Church is an active community in Nevada, Missouri.  We support one another through prayer, fellowship and friendship, and carry this ministry with us wherever we go!

We believe that Jesus of Nazareth is the Christ, the Son of the Living God, and that through his life, death and resurrection, we are forgiven and saved forever from the power of sin and death.  The forgiveness we experience is given to us freely, joyfully, and abundantly by God through Jesus Christ.  We dare to accept this free gift of grace by faith alone, and believe that we cannot do anything to earn it or deserve it.

As loved and forgiven people of God, we are then empowered by the Holy Spirit to go out and share this Good News, making Christ known in our homes and families, in our places of work, in our larger community, and ultimately in the whole world!
